California Special Needs Lawyers: Firm Overview

California Special Needs Law Group ("CSNLG") is a versatile law firm designed to meet the changing needs of our clients. Our primary focus is helping children with Special Needs obtain a Free Appropriate Public Education ("FAPE") from their local educational agency ("LEA") such as your child's school district. Our Special Education representation includes advocating for and defending the legal rights of families at Individualized Education Program ("IEP") meetings, mediations and court proceedings.
In an effort to meet the needs of our clients CSNLG has evening hours throughout the week for consultations and telephone conferences. Evening hours can be scheduled from 5:00-10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
While our physical office is located in Southern California the firm routinely represents clients throughout the state. In an effort to reduce costs and to maximize our effectiveness our representation and advocacy includes telephonic attendance at IEP meetings as needed. This allows us to be mobile and prevents the expense of travel time to and from an IEP meeting.
Special Education Law is a very specific and complicated area of law. It is important for Special Education Lawyers to be well versed in this practice area to properly advance the legal interests of children with special needs. Because most of our work is handled through correspondence both written and telephonic with school districts, California Department of Education ("CDE") and the Office of Administrative Hearings ("OAH"), we can easily serve clients throughout the state.
It is our mission to provide exceptional customer service to each and every family we work with. This includes keeping our clients informed of their case, quickly addressing their concerns, promptly returning their calls, and making their time under our care go as smoothly and quickly as possible. CSNLG is guided by three very important principles: (1) Provide excellent legal services; (2) Build solid and trusting relationships with our clients; and (3) Provide "affordable" and “cost effective” legal counseling and representation.
