Unlike many law firms who charge a high hourly rate for their services, we pride ourselves in offering low hourly rates and low flat fees. We believe that it is important for our clients to know in advance what our legal services will cost.
Unfortunately, the high cost of legal services has virtually eliminated the possibility for many people to hire and receive legal representation. We believe that obtaining legal counsel for your special needs child should not add financial stress to your life. Generally our services range from $800-$10,000 depending on the complexity of your case and whether it proceeds to trial. Remember that most cases settle before trial. Additionally, if you prevail at trial you are entitled to seek recovery of your "reasonable" attorneys' fees.
It is our policy to charge a low hourly rate for our services and a low flat fee for the initial review of your child's educational file and recommendation letter. Additionally, we keep our clients informed of the estimated time the firm will spend on a project and set predetermined caps on the fee to be charged. We believe our clients deserve the right to know how much our legal services will be instead of being surprised at the end of the month. Regardless of how long it takes us to complete a task our clients will get billed no more than the predetermined cap.
